Pretty fortunate breaks for the Ponies. WBL I thought had the edge in play every period. A few bad goals allowed by Schletty were the difference... Especially the one with 1:30 left. He probably stops that weak wrister from the blue line 99 out of 100 times. Both teams were a bit chippy, but WBL seemed in the box more often. Even though WBL controlled the puck most of the time Stillwater was on the powerplay... They did score on one of them.

I at least came away very confident that the Bears can come ahead if there's another meeting between these two teams. Schletty is much better than he played today. He'll bounce back. I sure hope there's a 3rd and deciding game!

Maybe it will the start changing of the guard in the SEC as it looks like the
black and red are doing quite well in the feeder programs and have the numbers. If the "Punies" can beat the Mighty Bears in sections maybe it will be the start of a good run for them?
