Take a look at the stat sheet before posting something moronic like this. They played their back up goalie who had FIVE saves in this shut out.
13 players on Hill Murray got points, only two players with 4 points and two players with 3 points. With 11 goals, 8 players scored goals, only two players with multiple goals. There was one hat trick, for a player who has had more than two points ONE other time this season.
They could have EASILY rolled their top two lines and scored 20+ goals but they didn't.
Thank you HS; I was too lazy to explain why is comment was so poor.

Don't you know by now that the key to HM's success over the past several decades has been individual stats?? When people talk about this year's team they always talk about their selfish play.

Are you talking about the goaltender interference call?
Ah yes. Gorg (or whatever his name is) summed it up well. Two dumb calls in a row but one cost the Gophers a goal.
And then naturally the Bulldogs come down and score a few minutes later. Went from a tie game to down 2. Now trailing by 1 with roughly 8 minutes to go.
Been a great game to watch so far. Third period should be a great one.
Watching the game on My Fox Hockey...
This is the second MG game that I have seen this week. They are very well organised defensively. Should bode well for the playoffs.
Like usual Sections 5AA should be very interesting. Wouldn't be surprised to see these two teams playing again for the section title and a trip to the state tourney!!!
Slap Shot wrote:Probably not a game in doubt, but anyone have a Tonka-Hopkins score?
Tonka won 8-5 (6 of those coming in the 1st, I believe.)
You are correct Karl..
Can't say that I wasn't surprised to see Hopkins slide five past Glockner. Even though the game was never in doubt it's still not the best way to end the night.
That Burnsville alum? (K. Gorg) a goalie knows it all... a knee to the head is an Academy award acting job by Crandell, but a Gopher running the Bulldog netminder with the UMD Defender heading the other direction and a goal is dissallowed...strong stickwork when the blade of the UMD Defender can send the Gopher player into the goaltender (as he also drops his shoulder to make contact) is a bad call.... typical homer. Since, everyone else felt the need to comment on a college hockey game - i will too... keep it H.S. related. Kevin Gorg... congrats - you sure know your hockey, starting to sound like bitter Doug Woog of days of old. Lucia lovers, you must love 7th place.
