So I walk into an arena this weekend and there is a B bantam game going on. One team has one extra player on the bench. In talking to someone (no idea who) they explained there were several injuries. I figured 6 or 8, but only 4 injuries. So I asked, "low numbers in the bantams?" No, they took 30 bantams and made 3 teams.
Bizarre?

Possibly Chisago Lakes? 1 B-1, 2 B-2. Numbers are usually low so rarely
field an "A" level team. Competitive at "B" levels. Tough call if numbers
don't support three complete teams. Metro area can usually send or pick-up a few players from next door associations but could be tough to do in
more rural areas. What do you do? Cut players or ship them out for long
drives for a different association? Hard to know how many players you have until sign-ups and sometimes neighboring organizations don't have any openings anyway. Hopefully numbers will come up in the future.
