Post by Bragenrights »

Not 100% sure but i was told the Duluth pools are:
Red - Duluth, St. Thomas, Blaine, Stillwater
White – Burnsville, Grand Rapids, Mitchell, SLP
Blue – Grand Forks, Tonka, West End, Wayzata
Green – Lakeville, Watertown, Fort Francis

My picks are
Red Duluth
White Bville
Blue Wayzata
I don't know enough about the green pool teams to make a projection

Its a 15 team tournament. Not sure how they figured it out, must have had a team drop out.

My picks are

red - stillwater

bb is not pleased with braggen or lace'em for not reporting last nights tourney scores. BlJGA you get an "B" for the day for only reporting your score.

I will be speaking with braggen before his game at 3:00pm to discuss this situation and how it needs to be fixed immediately....

Reg,

Actually Wayzata beat Tonka 3-2 at the infamous Freyberger. I believe since West End lost (beat Wayzata) today Wayzta could advance to Sunday with a W and West End loss vs Tonka thus evening.

More to come....

The west end team was the worst joke I've ever seen in hockey. Just a bunch of thugs who can't even really skate.

I heard that the people who run this tourney--their son is the Lakeville head coach so they set them up in that Green division against weaker teams.

The shenanigans in hockey just never stop!!

BTW, shame on that Thunder Bay team. What a disgusting display of poor sportsmanship that was. They are losing 4-0 to a clearly superior Tonka team and then the cheapshots started. The worst I've seen.

Mylittleponydad:

Sorry to pee on your wheaties, but am fairly certain that Ft. Francis beat Lakeville earlier this season in the Wayzata tournament, so the Green pool was not as easy as you make it out to be.

Congrats SLP, you made a nice run and now have bb's attention. Remember, I did have you as a team to be on the lookout for in the pre-season.

Tonka Thunder Bay game did get out of hand but I think alot of blame should be directed towords Tonka fans like the mothers who taunted the goalie for atop the stairs the rest of Tonka fans cheering and claping as ThunderBay players got ejected thunder bay did not cheer when Tonka was ejected. Tonka fans are classless.

yup hockey moms chirping the kids starting fights are classless. the thunder bay team was even more classless, along with the stillwater team cheering after a tonka player would get hit after the play. stillwater is a team lead alone by the goalie otherwise they are no more than a bunch of pond skaters.. nothing remotely special about them.

This statement actually makes me sick to my stomache.... Are you kidding me ponies man!

Lets look at a few things here.

Stillwaters pool consisted of
Duluth
Blaine
Stillwater
Saint Thomas
Lakeville is 5-0 against the teams that were in your pool this year... It would be a little different if you were in Tonka and West Ends boat but your not. Your team lost man up to it and quit complaining. Its funny how there was no complaining until the weekend didnt go your way, then you brought it up.
