The whole thing was the most rediculous thing I have ever seen and got way out of hand, pointing the finger at the Stillwater kids is not even relevant - there were a couple of knuckleheads who were basically making fun of how rediculous the parents were acting, they were reprimanded accordingly

The shenanigans in hockey just never stop!!

BTW, shame on that Thunder Bay team. What a disgusting display of poor sportsmanship that was. They are losing 4-0 to a clearly superior Tonka team and then the cheapshots started. The worst I've seen.

This statement actually makes me sick to my stomache.... Are you kidding me ponies man!

Lets look at a few things here.

Stillwaters pool consisted of
Duluth
Blaine
Stillwater
Saint Thomas
Lakeville is 5-0 against the teams that were in your pool this year... It would be a little different if you were in Tonka and West Ends boat but your not. Your team lost man up to it and quit complaining. Its funny how there was no complaining until the weekend didnt go your way, then you brought it up.
Take some Pepto - the Orrey's run a nice tourney. They struggled to get to get 16 teams, got one and then they lost a team and were back at 15 teams. Who knows who was in that other spot and you never know what you are going to get with the out of state teams. Time for us all to take a deep breathe - I beleive their was some lol and :) in that quote. Let's get back to talking hockey.

just putting this out, what does it say if team that goes 2-1 in the pool stage wins the final 8-1? weird decision to put tonka and wayzata in the same pool, arguably the two best teams in the state.

Duluth did the same thing the last year to tonka. tonka was in the same pool with Wayzata, Centennial and a Canadian team.

tonka won the pool with a 1-0-2 record. Wayzata and the Canadian team finished 1-1-1 and Centennial 1-2-0. It was the toughest pool of the 4 with all six games in pool play being 1 or 2 goal games.

In the tonka vs. Wayzata game, Wayzata had to pull the goalie in a 3-3 tie game to try to advance. Never seen that before in 8 years of watchin youth hockey tournaments

Tonka prevailed in the semi's over the blaze and Duluth in the finals.

The results this year mirror 2010. The team from the toughest pool beat Duluth in the finals.....

With it their home tournament, they get to pick where teams are. Generally speaking its not at random.

Arguably? They both have one loss, wayzata's one loss came from tonka. Seems to me they ARE the two top teams in the state, I can't think of any argument against that. I've seen tonka play about 6 times this year, they are scary good. I have no idea how they've managed a loss and a couple of ties, but they may be the best JGA team I've ever seen.
When Hell freezes over, I'll play hockey there too.

Nobody's talking, it's all in fun. I couldn't care less about how the tourney was bracketed, just making a joke about a rumor I heard.

Playing 6 games in a 48 hour span with two lines isn't easy. Its called running out of gas with a 3 hour break between games. It happens. Let's see what happens come state.

Actually Stillwater tied Duluth. When are we gonna figure out that you should be judged game by game and not on who beat who - cuz ever game has their own dynamics.
