Moorhead was 0-6 on the PP the first match-up. Moorhead's PP is only at 21.5% for the season. Their PK is at 83%.TTpuckster wrote:I'm root tootin for Bemidgi also.
But, elliott, they need to stay out of the box.
Bemidji was 0-3 in that first game. Bemidji's PP is at 30.5%. Kill at 88.6%.
I'd say Mhd needs to stay out of the box...

Bemidji, IMO, is the favorite but not by a large margin. I still think it will be a close game.

12 of Bemidji's 19 wins are vs class A or North Dakota teams. The other wins are vs non-ranked AA teams. Bemidji is 0-1-1 vs ranked AA teams. If you want to look at ranked A teams, well I'll just say that the top 20 A teams vs the top 20 AA teams this year are 3-34. None of those 3 wins are vs top 10 AA teams. So Bemidji is 19-2-1 playing an A schedule. They will have to make a statement tonight for me to be a believer.PuckU126 wrote:Same.2nd string wrote:Where do you get that Moorhead is the favorite? Moorhead got off to a slow start but really came on in Jan. going 10-1. Feb they are 0-2, but have not had a healthy team, the flu bug is making the rounds. Vs Benilde there were 2 players out and several less than 100%. Vs Rapids, still 1 player out (he has a lung infection) and a couple not at full strength. So, IMO, if Moorhead is healthy, they win by 2.

I still want to know how Elliot got that Moorhead is the favorite. How do we come up with those?HSS wrote:12 of Bemidji's 19 wins are vs class A or North Dakota teams. And its better to be humble...2nd string wrote:Where do you get that Moorhead is the favorite? Just asking!elliott70 wrote:Moorhead the favorite, but should be a good game.
Lets see now - the Taters schedule includes games with Wayzata, Centennial, Jefferson, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Hill-Murray & BSM.
The Jacks have a better record - against Monticello, Sartell, Apollo, Fergus Falls, Andover, River Lakes, Crookston & Fargo North.
Interesting !

Don't forget, you can listen to this game tonight on the Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network, found online at www.MnSportsNetwork.com. Should be a good one!

up for grabs
Spuds are good. Impressed by Bemidji.
This game will be a preview of the section finals. Wish I was there to watch.

1-0 Bemidji right now, but play is pretty even, perhaps even with a slight edge to the Spuds.
