The one and only meeting between the two so it is a big game for considering section seeds. Who do you think will take this one?

D. Marshall lost a good player in Dave Grannis and a captin during the D. Denfeld game last week. Out for the season with a broken wrist on a very bad "no call," not a good day for a senior....

Losing him hurts marshall.. both these teams are probably top 3 teams in this section.. virginia nice win vs. sartell.. i'll take virginia by two in a close hard fought game between these 2 teams that don't like each other.. outcome will majorly effect seeding in 7a

Marshall never had the lead in this game. SOG were pretty telling.

If Marshall had so many shots, why did they never lead???

The only SOG that mattered was the one in OT!!

Translation = Marshall had the better play, but Virginia had the better goalie, atleast on this night. Always nice to be on the PP, plus OT appears to be choke time for Marshall this season.

Two big ovetime losses to section teams never help this late in the season. They play Souptown on Saturday. Lost to them in ot in the Hilltoper classic this year too! Should be a good game, as much as I hate Souptown they have a good team in the triplets and Dalbec.
