It's amazing that no matter how well a kid does, many people like you won't give him any credit as the best skater in high school hockey because he committed to the school he's wanted to play for all his life. It's stupid.
EP two out of three.

I agree that the criticism against him is unnecessary. For the record, I like Rau and hope he wins the award... Gopher or not I think he'd have a shot at it either way.

Rau is not a Gopher, he is an Eagle.

You know what kingpin meant...

8)
Yeah, I know what he meant. Just sick of hearing all the Gopher B.S. from some of you.

I was going along with a joke. I know it's hard to read into my sarcasm, and I apologize for that.

HOWEVER, look what I posted just above your response just now...

"Gopher or not I think he'd have a shot at it either way." -starmvp

^^ I agree with that statement.

Hard to believe that there is such little discussion about how Rau stayed at Eden Prairie when there was a tremendous amount of pressure on him to play the entire year at Sioux Falls. Congrats to Rau on a fabulous Senior season. He would be a worthy winner!

Good to see he chose completing HS over leaving. He made the correct choice.

I am sure he has enjoyed the ride. Another state champsionship and a Mr. Hockey might make it better yet.
