Wayzata vs. Roseau (Hockey Day in Minnesota) 2/12

Post by starmvp »

Game already started. Sunny day up in Moorhead. Some how both teams are wearing the color white? Very tough to watch the game on TV (FSN)... 0-0 with 10 minutes left in the first.

I have to say Roseau did better than I expected. Beating St Cloud last night 6-0  , making the trip to Moorhead then losing to a very good Wayzata team in OT this morning............. Good effort Rams! Other than both teams wearing white, good game #1 for Hockey Day Minnesota.

I didn't understand that as well...

Did Wayzata, the visiting team, for get their blues?

Warroad guy trying to make it look like Roseau's fault... The schedules and the scoreboard had Roseau as the home team.

Actual Dude, your Greens would have looked way better on tv. I would think it would be Wayzata's fault Roso was the "home team." That really was a softy for the winner.

White on White

Green would have been nice, but Roseau was the home team, as is Moorhead. The white on white was not nearly as bad as the camera set-ups by FSN looking into the sun causing soooo much glare it was hard to see the puck!

Its good to know that even when Roseau is having a rough year, they can still play with the best in the state. Congrats to Wayzata, they were the better team.

Congrats to Moorhead, they played Hill tough also. Both teams had to play on the same ice so the cities can't use that as an excuse.

8AA showed that they are tough even when they are ....... "weak"......at least that is the rumor on the message boards.

Section 8AA might not do well in the state tourney but at least they made a game out of it when the metro sent their best up North.

to the warroad fan that says the rams sweaters were still wet from the previous night, the previous night the rams wore their white sweaters at home to beat tech, so your assumption that that is why they wore white is 100% false. The rams were listed as the home team in the program and on the score board. Wayzata should have wore blue sweaters.
