It seems like it's too late for the Gophers though. They have to do very well for the remainder of the season.

And their fan attendance is crap... Went to few games this year and I was shocked. The fans really don't care as much right now...

I'll admit I am not a Gopher fan, but I will on occasions go to their games, watch them on TV, and chat about them. I am just baffled they have been this poor for the past 3 seasons.
