First, there are some coaching issues with both W.B.L and Stillwater.
Second, there are more than a few kids lost in Stillwater’s case and that will never change until certain coaches at the high school level are removed, quit, resign, or get fired. The Athletic Director has to address the issue or it will never change. I believe in 2008 seven or 8 of the Hill kids were from the Stillwater area. This year there are less Stillwater area kids on the Hill team but some others went to play at STA and a few at other schools. Why would a kid not want to play for a team that sets out every year,,,,,,,,, and actually has a chance to get the state tournament. ………………..every single year?
Stillwater has the numbers coming up to make a difference at the high school level. If you look at the youth programs in District 2 Stillwater finished as follows in the regular season:
Bantam A – 1st
Bantam B1 – 1st
Bantam B1 – 7st
Bantam B2 – 2nd
Bantam B2 – 7th
Peewee A – 2nd
Peewee B1 – 1st
Peewee B1 – 2nd
Peewee B2 – 1st
Peewee B2 – 1st
With these numbers I see Hill, STA, SPA and Shattuck being good for many years!
