Section 5AA Seeding

Post by Maple Grove Crimson#1 »

How do you see this shaking out?

Here's my picks.

1. Maple Grove. Lock
2. Blaine
3. Osseo
4. Centennial
5. Champlin Park. Lock
6. Anoka. Lock
7. Coon Rapids. Lock
8. North Metro. Lock
9. Irondale. Lock
–---------------------------

Only movement I can see here is between Blaine, Osseo, and Centennial.
What if Osseo beats Maple Grove this week and Centennial beats Blaine, should that have any effect? This is tuff. Let me know what u think

MGC #1 You really need to figure out how to post post just just once once for for each each new new topic topic...

Ever thought about using a key board rather than your smart phone

Just having some fun fun

I see all the views but nobody has a word on this? I do realize section 5AA doesn't get a lot of play on here, its a down year for this section I realize that. This section has won a few titles the past 10 years. Were are the section 5AA fans at!

Off the top of my head (IIRC)

Blaine in 2000
Elk River in 2001 (left section years later)
Anoka in 2003
Centennial in 2005

I also remember Anoka winning sometime in late 90s also.

I'm sure someone here with the exact number will chime in....

Centennial I think was in Section 3AA in 2004 when they won. If I remember right, they are the only team other than HM or WBL to represent that section for the past 30 years or so. Centennial was moved to 5AA recently.

Probably correct...I may be thinking NWSC as opposed to 5AA on this stuff.

Anoka and Blaine were 4AA. Not sure about Elk River.

This is a bit complicated, since they switched the section numbers a few years ago. Anoka, Blaine, and Elk River won the state title out of what was then 4AA; nearly all those 4AA teams are now in 5AA.

Holy Angels was in 5AA when they won their titles.
