GR's Johnson to be honored

Longtime GR sports broadcaster Larry Johnson will be honored prior to the Grand Rapids vs Duluth Central game this evening. Larry has been a part of the GR sports community for 30 plus years and has called over 1200 games not including post season. Larry always had a way of allowing a listener to visualize the action he was describing and his voice will be missed on the local air waves. Thanks, Larry for your dedication and many years of loyal service to the local sports programs.

He was simply the best! His call of White's OT winner vs East in 2007 was awesome!!
