Stillwater and Mounds View are the class of D2 this year and both have quality wins under their belts vs Top 15 squads. Would be a surprise if they don't make it to regions. Once in regions they could make a run...

Does D2 have 3 spots in regions? I know the Pee-wees do. If they do Watch for FL to get there. Team played well @ the Moose.

Roseville could be in there too. They've beat Moundsview twice this season. All depends on who wants it more. :)

District 16 should be Roseau, East Grand Forks with Bemidji, TRF and Warroad fighting for the 3rd spot.

Single elimination tournament takes alot of the drama out of this tournament. the double elim bracket that was used in the past would really open up the race for the 3rd seed. Top 2 will be tough to beat.

D10 will be Blaine, ER and Centennial. - if Centennial wasn't playing at home, there could be a few other teams that could have knocked them out.

it looks to me that rogers has been one of the hottest teams so dont be suprised if centennial looses there first game... Elk river tied champlin so that will also be a good game! Andover finally got there full team, they could be a team to watch... Looks like this will be a good interesting tourny!

Rogers looked really good when i watched them the other night. I know they recently had there best defenseman come back from injury so i'm sure that helps. I too think they have a good chance at knocking Centennial off right away.

D2 is wide open after MV and Stillwater. 7 points in the standings between 2nd and 3rd place, but only 6 points separate 3rd from 8th. 8th seed (Tartan) beat the 2 seed (MV) last week and the 7th seed (Mahtomedi) has beaten the teams the tied for 3rd (Roseville) and 4th (Highland). WBL has been off, but they also had 4 players out for several weeks. I'd give a nod to Roseville being the third team out, but it won't be an easy path.

Should make for a fun tournament at the Blizzard!!!

How about D6?

To me personally that looks like the toughest district.

Edina

Burnsville

Eden Prairie

those are three super solid squads.
