Dani Schultz - scoring leader

Post by Bandy »

Dani Schultz has racked some big numbers this season. 73 goals, 44 assists, 117 points. Includes 23 points in her last 3 games! A lot of players would be glad to have that many points in an entire season. Congrats to her for a great season and 400+ points for her career. http://www.morrissuntribune.com/event/article/id/24485/

Anyone know if she plans on playing college hockey, and where?

With all due respect, how has she played against a higher level of competition?

Looks like she signed with UW Superior. It will be interesting to see if she can light up D3 like she lit up the greater Morris - Benson area. 8)

I wish her the best. Why did she not go D-1. What a shame. She will probably set the d-3 scoring record.

Although I never saw her play, I have to agree. If you can light it up that big, even in a weak conference, I would think you would have D-1 potential somewhere. Even if you're on the lower the end of D-1 talent curve, I would think there would be some teams that could develop her and elevate her knack for goal-scoring to D-1 level.

Just did a quick search to see how she's doing this year, as a Freshman at UWS. Looks like she's off to a good start. 4 Goals in 3 games. Player of the week. Good for her.
