Brainerd Warrior Hockey

Post by Skip_per »

Now for the story, all of you already know.
Josh Archibald broke another record for the Warrior Hockey team. He now has the Single Season Points Crown. He also has the Single Season Assists Crown. :!:
The single Season goals crown is with in reach of Mitch McLain as a Junior no less. He has 3 hat tricks this year. :!:
Josh is the team leader, and as he says “ I could not have done it without my boys” 8)
Matt Pohlkamp quietly is right with them. Lots of savior faire but no teeth bared. Just doing his job and playing hard.
The top line lead Section 8AA in points 1,2, and 3. They are all at or near the top of the State in AA schools as well.
This team has a solid nucleus. The rest of the team has come along way since the beginning of the year. Many of them stepped up to fill in where needed. Others have improved beyond what was expected. And still others will need to prove themselves in the games ahead.
When we all pull together for the uphill battle we can come out on top and make a birth into a new level of what will be unskated ice.
Good Luck Warriors.

I don't want to take anything away from Archibald as a player, he is a VERY good player, and deserved the D1 scholarship. I am just pointing out that there is many reasons for him putting up school record numbers besides his talent alone.

--- His linemates(As he said, "I could not have done it without my boys") This may be the most talented first line Brainerd has EVER had.
--- Weak Schedule(Conference/Section/Non-Conference)
--- Seems to play 50% of the game
--- Gets several "Phantom Assists"(Not just a problem in Brainerd)

Like I said, he is a VERY good player, but points are very deceiving.

Well, how many of those hard earned points are real? When they played Alex. He got points, when not on the ice? It no secret there's some padding of the points! He is a great player, A little Dirty/Cheap what ever, It's all uncalled for!
