The first 2 teams have clinched regional spots:

District 9

Rochester Red and Northfield play tomorrow for the 1st and 2nd spots in the D9. RR romped over RG and Owatonna. Owatonna being the top D9 team I saw that played in District games.

New Ulm and Owatonna play and Mankato plays Dodge County. The winners play for the 3rd autoberth from the District.

STMA and Hutchinson qualified for regionals.

Both teams seem to have walked through the district. I must have missed something...why was ST CLOUD was not part of the playoff?
You are misinformed. D5 play doesn't wrap up until next weekend., St. Cloud and STMA still have one more game to play to clinch a regional birth. STC vs. Sartell and STMA vs. MAML. Losers of both games drop to the 3rd seed bracket and STC vs. Sartell loser could potentially play Hutch.

Hutchinson would have to win three more games to clinch a spot.

Elk River-3
Rogers-1

Was a great game. Elk River clinches a regional birth I believe.

Champlain-2 (3OT)
Princeton-1

Was an awesome game to watch. Shots were pretty even and the game was pretty back and forth before Champlain scored half-way through triple Overtime.

Mahtomedi-5
Tartan-3

Saturday

Blaine 3 Anoka 1

Blaine goalie steals the show as Blaine was out shot and out played for most of the game. He made one save after another as the game went on. Blaine just capitolized on their chances and pulled away in the third. Extremely fun game to watch.

Sunday

Blaine 4 Centenial 2

Blaine looked much faster then they did Saturday. The game seemed pretty even but Blaine's speed prevailed in the end. Cenntenial rallied late with a goal to narrow the gap to 3-2 but Blaine quickly rebounded with an empty netter to seal the deal.

Anoka 3 SLP 2

Anoka came out flat and fought off a 5on3 situation early in the first and a 10 minute misconduct to one of their players as well. They didn't seem to have the jump as they did Saturday against Blaine as they lost most races to the puck. They scored with 4 seconds left in the game to win it.

Wayzata and Mpls advance to Championship. Loser of Championship falls back into Consolation Bracket. Champion and Consolation Champion go to Regions - only 2 teams go from D3.

Armstrong will play winner of Orono/Mound.

Maple Grove will player winner of Hopkins/Crow River.

The winner of these two games will play each other to determine who plays loser of Championship.

Very interesting. What's the story here on the Zephyrs? Getting outshot but winning? Just an improved team? Congrats to them.

Could it be that Rochester Red needed a few days to rest up their players? Will the games be played in Rochester since they are truelly the number one seed and just so much better than all teams. Then again why don't we just cancel all the games and just seed the teams into regions, Rochester Red would get the #1 seed of course.

Really Little Red Riding Hood? The Rochester scores of 9-0 and 7-1 thus far haven't convinced you that D9 did a good job seeding the teams?

Let's let sleeping dogs lie on this one and let the kids play sort things out.

I'm not sure you are correct Frederick61, WBL or Mahtomedi did clinch Regional Spots but one of the teams could drop to the #3 seed because they will have to play the consolation winner for 2nd seed. The ol' back door move.
