Kinda like when rapids outcheered east in 2007. 8)
Well if no "upperclassmen" will coordinate things I defenitly will be mad... and take matters into my own hands. :D
Go Dan.

Being a senior, i will say its been a down year, however, freshman year and sophomore year we made noise, since then they have preached political correctness at the games. Which is truly irritating to me. Its old time hockey, a rivalry with Cloquet, we should be able to tell them where their moms work, who their dads work for, or what languages we are not capable of speaking. There has been so much backlash in my 4 years that people are tired of trying to start cheers and getting yelled at for it. Its not right, its not the way its supposed to be. Schools need rivalrys its what gets us through the day.

To all EAST students and fans:

Man up and support your team. Especially in sections.

And students... teachers can't do anything to you at the game. Trust me.

In 97 we had the entire football team there shirts off, girls in bikinis and were creative in chants. East students have lost all school spirit and are a bunch of duds

Because you gave up.

Think of another chant and keep going.

Nothing to do with us, we have spirit, its the AD dashing all creativity in our students. If we showed up like that we would be quickly escorted out of the building.

Section 7AA Neutral Site haha

Post by HalloweenMachine »

Does anyone else wonder why Section 7AA is always held at the decc? Wouldn't the memorial building make more sense since no AA team plays there? I just don't think east needs any added advantage to win the tourney. Even though East fans don't show up half the time. Ha

East vs Cambridge. It's gonna be ugly so I won't make a thread. But where is it? I've heard heritage and amsoil. The east program and hockey hub have it at amsoil.

Finally figured out the equivalent.

Having the 7AA Semi's and Final in Duluth would be equal to having the State consolation bracket in White Bear Lake.

I believe seating capacity has been mentioned...

And since the Heritage has been built, the DECC and Amsoil have not been home to any high school team.

Hibbing Memorial did work at one time. The only thing I didn't like about it was that you had to buy two tickets to see both games. DECC (and Amsoil) gives you two for the price of one.

Plus, you want the Elk River, Forest Lake, etc fans to travel even farther than they already do?? Granted, the travel they have to do makes people up in Roseau and Moorhead laugh, but it's a real hardship for them. I mean, really. :P

Well theres a difference from school spirit, and just being loud and annoying. AKA Cenfeld. But East always picks it up at sections.... we are just to used to winning all the time, so everyone just waits to go to section finals and state.

I resent the notion that our student sections in the past few years have been "duds". I was the loudest kid in that student section last year and I can't remember a game where we wern't loud. However, a certain someone (who will not be named) has taken the fun out of attending hockey games and sporting events in general at East. Last year I was told I couldn't attend a game for a chant I was simply explaining to my girlfriend who didn't know what it was and had never heard of it. So I think our student section last year from the class of '10 was pretty darn good.

Alright, lets get off the ass of the East student section and talk about hockey like this thread is supposed to..
