Looks like it was a great game, good goaltending both ways. I'm very anxious to see how Guentzel turns out in the next few years, he's only a Sophomore but the kid can score. Looks to have a promising future.

Not to Mention Soph's = Voltin with a goal, and Lavalle with 2 assists

Congrats to HM, a class organization all the way.

Nice win by the Pioneers, they move the puck and pass with the best of the teams I've seen. The game was close through 2 with Roseville having some nice chances as did Hiil. The better team won without question. I know I'm in the minority but I'd like to see this team at the X, they would represent 4AA better than anyone else.

Not the best performance by the Pioneers tonight, but all that matters is advancement at this stage of the year. Roseville played well & it looked like HM was just going through the motions and didn't have that jump early in the game. As things went on, they started to pick up the tempo a little more. I'm sure Lex will get the boys re-focussed and they will bring their "A" game Firday night. Congrats boys & good luck in the finals!

I agree. Roseville had a nice jump in their step and was playing with them for half the game. It looked liked they ran out of gas and stood there watching HM skate and shoot. HM just took over and put them away.

PPG... it's refreshing to know H-M can have a little off game and still dominate. As we saw in last year's state game vs Tonka, Lex game plans with the best of them. I expect nothing to change with the game vs WBL. Good luck and kick butt.

I may have to bring back Lex's pregame speech for our new viewer's to see.

I enjoyed both games at the Coliseum tonight. HM got it done in the 3rd period tonight. Shaughnessy was very solid in goal for HM and was tested tonight. The WBL-Stillwater game was a blast. The best team won. Stillwater has a bunch of guys who would rather hit someone than score. It was fun to watch. I expect a good one Friday. I'd rather see HM skate with WBL than try to dodge those beasts from Stillwater.

If HM plays like they did tonight and WB plays like they did tonight, Friday shouldn't be too tough a win for HM. HM out skates just about everyone, very impressive and they are so confident in where their teammates will be on the ice. Separates them from most other teams.

H-M defense will need to play much better on Friday. They seemed confused at times as what to do with the puck. Offense played well at times and not at others. But a win is a win and they will be ready for Friday.
