The Lakeville twins are headed to OT #2. It sounds like a barn-burner!

Seems like we've had a lot of very low-scoring games this week. East-GR and Eagan-AV last night; the Lakevilles tonight, Edina-Burnsville was tight on Wednesday, there may be more...
Even more, how about the OT games? Hope state is the same....
Definitely!
Of the AA section finals:
3 went to OT
2 were 1-goal games
1 was a 1-goal game with an EN
and WBL-Hill already has me on the edge of my seat...

the 1AA talent your taking about includes the best goaltender in the state of Minnesota along with a player with almost 90 points playing in the South Suburban

Absolutely. It's not 1-1 for lack of talent. It's 1-1 because Lindgren and Frahm brought their A games.

I have mountains of respect for Lechner and his program, and I've been behind them at #1 for a while. They always give us great hockey at the state tourney.

But tonight, I'm a member of the WBL faithful. Period.

I will agree with you there are some very talented players in 1aa and a couple good players who could be playing there that have left for one reason or another, but I have to disagree with Lindgren being the best goalie in the state, although he is a very good goaltender.

Another penalty against Litchfield.
Litchfield net empty. Just under a minute left. 5on5 hockey for the remainder.

Frahm saves the game for South again.
An open-net wrap-around was missed seconds earlier for South.

PPG goal in a section final with 2 minutes to go.

I hope that was a blatant penalty

It happens all the time. It happened tonight for Blaine. Refs often forget how large these games are for the kids.
