Eagan Wildcats vs Moorhead Spuds
Should be a great finish to the quarterfinals on Thursday who wins? I go with my heart of course and pick Eagan, but we have a tough time with those tougher goalies out there so I expect a low score, 2-1 maybe.

Everybody's picking Eagan... I like it!

Okay, everybody was picking Eagan at first. Now... not so much it seems.

Looks like the Spuds defense and Bitzer will be tested against Eagan. The Wildcats scored over 5 goals per game during the regular season while the Spuds only averaged just under 3 and a half per game. If the Spuds aren't ready, this has the potential of being like the Spuds/BSM game.

Or . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . if the Taters play like they did against Bemidji, it could be the same as 2 yrs ago when we all thought they were dead & they took out the #1 Hormets in the 1st round !

Um, the kid held an 89% save percentage, 2.2 GAA in the regular season. In the play-offs, he has a 95.2% save percentage and a 0.67 GAA including a shutout in the section final. I think the young man can and will play well in the net.iwearmysunglassesatnight wrote:I don't think eagan has the goaltending to advance in the show. Spuds in a close one.
