I rarely will favor ANY Section 1 school over a Northern MN team. The latter invariably will show more "hockey sense" and find a way to win. But in this one - and I could very well be wrong - I believe Rochester's superior talent will prevail. If I was betting my own $$$ that's who I would favor in this one...

lourdes is almost the same team that virginia lost to last year in the consolation title. They are very good defensively and have great goaltending. Last year the devils outshot them 30 to 15 I think so they will not put up big offensive numbers. If hibbing can score 3 goals I think they will win

also hibbing guys just let mr. plow make his prediction. We all know that will probably not be the score so don't get too upset about it. I'm feeling a low scoring one

Come to think of it, I do have a blue Columbia jacket...might have to break it out at the Tourney now.

No need.

Besides rain on Friday, you shouldn't need a coat.

Your HOUNDS jersey should keep you warm enough (and your booze).

Unless East coast living has softened me up too much, those two should do the trick.

Looking for Tromp to have a big game here. At least, hoping he does. The kid impressed me a lot against Virginia in the 7A final.

The first few minutes suggest he's gonna need to have a huge game...

Great effort by Johnson on the Hibbing goal. Tromp looks very strong.

Hibbing 3-0 now. Looks like this shuts the 1 and done Virginia fans up eh?

I'll admit I picked Lourdes to win; however, I didn't pick Hibbing to totally fall in the tourney.

Good for them!

The tourney is inspiring me to do some more video game work, lol. Figured I'd share, just for fun.

First ever quarterfinal upset since they started seeding Class A. Congrats, Hibbing! Good luck against H-Town on Friday! Good tourney for the north so far... :D
