Finbar Murphy, C-DH (1988).

Not for his performance (C-DH went two and out, I believe).

But because of a fantastic name.

Agreed.

He had a great defensive core in front of him... RJ Anderson and co.

Not the best goalie, but he was solid.

He stopped a point blank shot against AHA on the goal line, three breakaways against Wayzata in the semis, and he kept everything out against a powerful Moorhead team. If that's minimally "solid" than I give up.

Didn't Fox 9 pick Doug Long for their all-state tournament team when they did that a few years ago? :?:
