Les said it at the Banquet the night before the game as well. I think what he really meant to say was that Breck doesn't rebuild they re-recruit.

The team that won the last two tournaments was Wally's team. The team that TOOK Larson to the show.

That is correct. It was Wally's team under Wally's early coaching that took Larsen to state. It didn't really matter who was the coach of that team the last 2 years, they were going to play at a high level. This year they have talent, but not enough that it didn't matter who was coach. It made the difference.
