Why is everyone "trapping" Duluth East??

Post by mj79 »

Obviously a defensive style that works, as Grand Rapids and WBL played this style.. So If other coaches want to stop Easts attack , is this all they have to do? Im kind of confused, as Randolph said it on an interview that "hes never seen so many teams trap us" and "they do a good job doing it"

Obviously Elk River did NOT trap because they couldnt touch an east Forward for the life of them, as East was making incresible passing plays..

SO what Exactly is this, and how is it Stopping Easts front line that has been so Dominate to those who dont play the trap

WBL used the trap against HM and it worked against them in the section final. It just didn't get the same result today.

when a team doesn't have the "talent" to match the other team, you'll see a lot more trapping involved. Odds are, you won't see as much trapping going on between Edina, EP or Eagan.

Pucker, not a good bingo.

You forgot to mark the free spot. Keep waiting for that one to get called.
