Go Hounds

Relax, Karl. They made it and won their first game. The rest is icing on the cake. If they were senior dominated, I'd probably feel differently...karl(east) wrote:If I was a nervous wreck yesterday afternoon, what am I going to be tonight?![]()
I watched the East-Edina game back in December; the Hounds played quite well and controlled play for the majority of the 2nd and 3rd periods. They got off to a slow start, which hurt them, and a couple of turnovers in their own zone led to several Edina goals--just about all of them were scored on breakaways.
So to pull this one out, the Hounds have to mind their own zone and be careful to avoid odd-man rushes. Penalties will also be huge--that can be Edina's Achilles Heel, and if the Hounds stay out of the box they can give themselves a big edge. Edina is going to be physical, so East will have to roll its lines and try to avoid getting worn down.
No prediction here...all I know is that it's going to be quite the night at the X.

DE started slow but got their forecheck going late in the first. Since then, they have been the better team. Hopefully that will show up on the scoreboard!mj79 wrote:dlhhockey wrote:Rolling three lines. All playing very well.mj79 wrote:Woohoo made it home for the 3rd... Ahhh what a game I missed so far![]()
