Whew! Empty netter seals it at 7-5 for TRF.

Go get 'em Friday afternoon, Thief!

shows the maturity of the TRF mom, I know a bunch from section 8 that was on the TRF band wagon, but now we hope they get the beat down of there lives on Friday STA by 5 and I don't keep tabs on this but I haven;t seen a Warroad fan holding a sign up 7 out of the last 10 years to try a belittle a neighboring community, thought that only happened over in the arrow head region

Wow. I listen to the first two periods, Breck up 4-2, "Oh, no", said I, "Gotta go eat some lunch before class." Come back and find that Thief River pulls the big upset with a superb third period. Congrats to the Prowler!!

This was the best game of the day. The scoring went back and forth the 1st period. The 2nd period was all Breck. Then the 3rd belonged to Thief River Falls. I was kinda hoping for an OT game. But I had picked TRF to win, so I'm happy with the final score

Wow a few disgruntled warrior fans here. Congrats to the Prowlers. Ralph would be proud. Now to take down the last private on the class A side. Go after the brokeback Tommies.

Not likely since the TRF goalie isn't that good. But then again strange things do happen.

If only this year's Thief River team had Gothberg in nets. That would've been a fun one to see.

Get a grip...TRF has only been to state twice since 1956 or something and Warroad has been up there way more in the last 12 years. This was just showing how it was for them not getting to state and sitting at home while it was Warroad almost every year. Congrats to TRF on a good win.

Gotta like that. At least we won't see any bad blonde hair dye jobs this year.

I almost went to bed after the 2nd period as I thought Breck was pretty much taking it to the Prowlers. Even after the first I thought Breck would end up winning. I'm glad i stayed up! Congrats to the Prowlers for reaching down deep and taking it to the Mustangs in the third. They just wanted it more.

Whaddup w/ that weak shorty they gave up though. Sheesh!

They were the "Thieves" way back in the day.

Josh Koop NEEDS to start in goal for TRF on Friday if they want a chance to win. He's bigger and more consistant. It's probably not going to happen, so Narverud will most likely get yanked after it's 4-0 after one.

Last nights game was retribution for their two goal lead erased by Hermantown in 2006. It's amazing how much better the teams were that season.

TRF wouldn't of beaten STA but Koop shutout a hot Hibbing team while Narverud allowed 10 goals in 2 games.

Probably some folks at Breck thinking similar what might have been thoughts. Their backup won the final two games after it was clear the starter would let in goals in bunches.
Shuck the puck!!!
