Little Falls state bound again?

Sabreman, I think Wadena took the section 4A title in 04, then LF did in 05...but I think Wadena will not be as strong a contender as I suspect LF to be. I have heard that Wadena's program may be taking a bit of a nose dive for the next few years. With that said, other posters have stated there is still a target on Wadena and LF's back, and Wadena could also be a spoiler this year. I would agree with that. I still believe this section is a race to the end as to who will take it. Although, I don't know much about Fergus other than what the recent poster stated as to all players are returning this year. That being the case, and with the new comers to the section, I stick with the final four being Alex, Sartell, Little Falls and Fergus Falls. I can't pick one winner yet.

LF's weakspot like every year will be depth and defense. After the festler jorgensen beau hanowski line and cotton and ben hanowski they dont have much left for a 3rd line. The first 2 better be in good shape. As far as defense is concerned - pender boone piotrowski storzinger anez - not one of them has good offensive skill or can break the puck out well <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> the young one anez has the most skill of them all though<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

Except that he plays forward in Brainerd, not D. And there is more to it than the hockey. He wanted to go to school in Pierz.

So, if Mr. P????? is focused on getting Mr. Warrior4life's number, (instead of proving his offensive skills- unless he literally wants his jersey) perhaps Mr. Warrior4life will have succeeded in altering Mr. P?????'s focus on what is important. I would think the defensive gentlemen listed, rather than getting anyone's number, would do their best to prove Mr. Warrior4life wrong by demonstrating their offensive strength. It's justagame....but the challenge is to determine which game one is playing!

I agree with you in that LF won't be that bad, but to say that they will finish over 500 isn't a big deal with the very weak schedule they have.

I think little falls is absolutely terrible! They will not go to state, and they will be below 500 this season. Good luck making it past sections, because it wont happen for a long time, since Alex moved in now!

I absolutely agree hockey81. Little falls IS absolutely terrible, there's no way they will go to state and as for the .500 season...WHO CARES? They play in section 4A, Crosby-Ironton, Pequot Lakes...come on. The top teams in this section are in play-in games outside of 4A, with the exception of maybe Alexandria. Looks like a cakewalk for Alex.

Little Falls and Alex will be the front runners in 4A, I really don't see anybody else stepping up including FF. LF should be better than they were last year and much deeper. Anyone who knows the program should expect LF to be one of the better teams in 4A for the next 3 or 4 years. These last few posts are based more on jealousy and ignorance.

I dont think that Little Falls will ever make it to the state tournament again in years. They first have to get past Alex!

4life If you know the program I think you would have to agree that the younger talent of LF is some of the best in the area. LF may struggle at the start of the year but I don't think anyone in 4A other than Alex will match up with them by Tourney time. Also a word to the wise, if your still an inexperienced player who has accomplished nothing and still 5'5" and 140 lbs. you may not want to openly crititcize the ability of a veteran player who is 6'3" 240 lbs. By the way LF has a terrible junior program. They have nobody coming up, except for the little hanouski. He is the only guy. (Last Year) Brainerd 9 LF 1. Good LUCK!

I like Little Falls, truly. But I disagree that LF and Alex are the only teams who have the ability to compete for the 4A title. This section is going to be tighter than many think, so don't count your chickens before they are hatched. 4A is not the same section LF competed in last year...some changes have been made.... and not just the addition of long time AA team Alexandria.

Sounds like the Brainerd boyz are still having problems with Little Falls going to State last year and they Know the Warriors will never have a CHANCE.

First off you have the worst section ever, and you guys are single A. Good luck making the state tournament now since Alex will go every year now. dang jigs that was a good slam!...now brainerd hockey fellers, what is it about you and slamming the LF team? They come back this year with all but 4 of their old starters. Now I'll say it that yes Steven Festler and Mikael Lickteig did leave. But they will be replaced and others I'm hoping will step up to the plate. I'm not saying LF is going to win the section with ease. Alexandria will be a very tough team as well, and fergus is always in the mix. Wadena is preditcted to have a down year so I've heard. But on a side note, I would like you to put some intelligence in your next few posts on here if at all possible. And yes, I would also love to hear why you yourselves will not have another one and out season....<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">
