The most unorganized mess I have ever witnessed. Players checked in on Friday like they were supposed to, then find out they are not on the ice for over 2 hours. Tryout numbers changed at random for no reason. Some of the drills were a mess - players skating into each other because of no spacing. Who was in charge?

I'm not sure they judge this thing all on 30 minutes of drills the first day. As long as the scrimmages are good on the second day, I think it would be fine but I don't know.

Thanks STARMVP, I need to find out more about him. He must be related to me somehow. We share the same last name. And it is spelled the same! most people drop the second "E".

Is Nichols the one from St. Louis Park? Imagine what the scores would be if he weren't in net for them

Well it is true that most of these things are ran very poorly.. because it is a bunch of hockey guys trying to organize everything.

Easy now blueblood. I was supporting it. Read a little more carefully before you start pointing fingers. Kem was complaining about the 30 minute practice that was involved. I was trying to tell him that the team isn't decided because of that.... I was saying that as long as the scrimmages were organized well, then it was a good process...

There was no criticism of the players that were picked. Just seems like players should not be told to report one hour before the ice time (around 6:30) and then find out they are not on the ice until 8:45. Switching numbers with the same color jerseys seems odd. There is nothing wrong with expecting the tryout to be well run and organized.

Puleeze.....how cliche. Just because someone rips the process it MUST be because their son didn't get picked, huh?
