Clarify. (Including borrowed players or not including?)

I’m thinking you could have the top five 00s, but that order could change slightly. It’s the Orange on top with the Edge not too far behind. Machine Black teams pulls 3 Orange for most tourneys, so they could slide down that list if they are on their own. The question I wonder is: What happened to or how are the Blades doing this year? In the first year of these kids playing AAA, the Blades kicked the crap out of the Edge (14-0?) and everyone else at the Caribou 09. They followed it up as Caribou Champs again in 2010. Maybe this weekend in Winny the Blades will show more of their quality. The Edge has great coaching, team unity and tweaked that roster, but in 2 years they are now better than that Blades team? Maybe its turnover, but you’ve got to hand it to the Edge team to show such improvement in only 2 years. Congrats on the tourney win too.

From what I have read Blades 2 for 2 in scrimmages vs. Edge, unless I missed something. Although scrimmages don't mean much, that is only measuring stick at this point for these teams. Until proven otherwise Blades would have to be #2 I would think. Without borrowed players I would think Ice move to 4.

Fair enough for the 00s. Orange and Blades followed closely by Edge, then Iceman and then Black. Hopefully all these teams are in the Caribou and we can see how it shakes out this year. Maybe Black (Torspo) has another stellar performance in the Caribou this year too.

Yes, and Orange, Blades and Edge will all in be in same pool. LOL. (Although I have seen some very crazy things in baseball this year with some "host" teams stacking the deck.) Wish all the local tourney's had those 3 teams.

Ok, I agree that until the Edge beat the Blades they should stay below them. The Edge already beat the Easton Synergy team 11-4 and the Edge were missing one of there top players. The older teams for STE are pretty good but not there 2000 team. What tourneys have they played? Have they played anyone on the list? Here is my list.

Machine orange
Blades
Edge
LSS
Machine Blange (black w/Orange players)
Icemen

I have watched the smaller goalie for a few games now. He is quick. Great movement. Nice glove. I would say one of the top 2000 goalies around. I was in Blaine Sunday for the playoff round and watched the 2000 championship. That kid is good.

Ps. Nice name - Anti-Orange.

Have you seen the "Blange" in action?

STE was in a tougher pool in the Independent Classic and was up on a tough Manitoba team most of the game. Ended around 3-4. LSS played this same Manitoba team and the game ended up around 7-2(loss).

I'm not positive, but I believe STE is 2-0-1 against Black in tournament action (with multiple orange players).

Sounds like you're the Edge goalie's dad.... They have a good team. I remember the Edge beating Black, but when did they beat Synergy 11-4 ????

April 10, 2011 at 6pm in Prior Lake at Dakotah rink #1. 3 20 min stop time periods. Final was 11-4.

Yes I have seen the Blange play. Edge beat them 5-2 on Sunday.

Iceman beat LSS by 4-5 goals in S&S. LSS 2-0 vs Edge this year, yet Edge beat Iceman by 4 or 5 in game early in the year. Go figure.

Synergy and STE not in the picture at this age level.

I'm sure the orange are very good I haven't seen the 00's. I thought the Stars looked good @ the Warrior. The Icemen have the best skater I've seen at the 00 level. # 9 I think. Controls the game, and unselfish. [No he's not my kid ]

And Black is?

Independent Classic

LSS 6
Black 3

STE 3 (2-0-1 against Black)
Black 2

Manitoba Young Guns 4
STE 3 (in the semi)

Manitoba Young Guns 7
LSS 2 (in the final)

A few more to make it harder to figure.
