So what if he moves and gets 6 games? Did the coach commit to him already?

Parker will be a junior, Jamar will be a senior, Skoog will be a senior, Vizenko will be a junior and there are three other at the camp that will be sophomore. I'm sure they will take five as they've done the last few years.

Then he gets six games. That's the chance you take particularly on a team like that. He is very good and word is a nice kid as well. I wouldn't say it will be a cake walk (no pun intended) for him. Will be interesting to see what happens in the games at the end of July.

OG85, What is the word around Forest Lake? Franklin, Kohls and company must of had high hopes for this year. Hard to fathom a kid leaving his senior buddies and ending up at the main section contender. Is there more to the story? What is the scoop?

Bo- His dad is a friend of mine and asked that I didn't post much on the subject. can say that C.J. and Kohls are both playing in the Elite, and not going out for football. I would bet they both end up leaving.[Cj Green bay] Kohls two or three options right now. Skoog did not get a job in Duluth. He can live any-where in the state of mn. [Teamster Rep] Alot of his work has been taking him to the range. Kids didn't want any part of that. Settled on Duluth. More will come out as the summer progesses I would think. He thinks it is the right mpve for all four kids and his wife not just Paige.

So- yes Forest Lake looks like they qualify as a team w/ problems in the net. After one week of STP one Jr and a soph are taking the reps. Skoog[The dad] stopped by to drop off a pile of maroon and gold gear, [for my younger ones] and said so far so good. Paige loves it. He says the East kids are great. Not only players but great kids also. Sounds like East may be a nice fit whatever happens on the ice is anybodys guess, but the East kids have been very hospitable.

Hate to see them leave. Great family. I grew up in FL. Played hockey here, They have one that played Pee-wee w/ one of my other kids. Paige has played w/ my oldest for years. Sometimes life is bigger than hockey. m"It's a FAMILY move". Who knows if he will even start. His dad says some real good goalies up there.

might want to check your stats again. And there are lots of interpretations that can be made from them - good and bad (as with all stats). Having said that, it's a weeks worth of play and the season is four months away. Classifying something as a no brainer means you don't know much about DE hockey.

I stand corrected as they updated it with today's game since earlier in the day when you made your post. Though their GAA is a little out of whack. couple of shutouts, good job. The kiss of death for him will be to return home thinking he's all that. hope he's smarter than that (some days i think so, some days not)

No, Skoog didn't go to NY. He was an alternate and never went to Rochester.

There has been more top end goalies out of Forest Lake the last 5-10 years than any other progam in the state. The Skoog family would have to be out of their minds to possibly have Paige play second fiddle up at DE without very good reasons. Sure hope he doesn't fall off the recruiters radar now.
