Anyone know which teams are participating in this tournament? How many age groups? What level (talent) can be expected?

I haven't heard much either! Are the divisions full? Who is coming in the 02 and 01 age groups? Anyone?

Anyone heard anything more about this tournament? Looks like it is on the same weekend as the Easton Cup Invite.

I can't find any info on the Toronto teams who are in the 02 division. Who is making up Team Minnesota. Looks like the Machine are in the Easton Cup. Blades should have a good shot at this one.

There was a Miracle Gold / Team Minnesota Tryouts thread earlier - Team Minnesota must be made up of Miracle Gold kids.

Machine, Synergy, and Wisconsin Flyers are all at the Easton Cup. Go Blades!

Thanks HD41, I just re read that post and had too chuckle. It was mentioned that Vancouver Selects and the 2K2 Warriors are coming. LOL, apparantly not. You would have to think that if teams are coming from Toronto, they will be good to travel this far!

Hmm, so you are suggesting that they are bringing brick level teams to this tournament to see the competition. Our brick representative isn't quite ready for that.......yet. Unless we have already played Brick calibre teams this past spring/summer.

03 Level should be competitive, assuming Blades (spent this summer as Legacy), Admirals, SE Jr. Selects, and Cougars all send similar roster as the Cougar Invite earlier this summer. Looking at the scores from that tourney, these 4 teams all showed well (Blades/Legacy won championship game in OT).

Team Minnesota would be the wildcard. It was a MM team at the Cougar Invite, now it is a a HB/Miracle Gold team.

Why are teams changing names? (Blades as Legacy...MM as team Minnesota) :?:

So at the '03 level the kids who played for Legacy's team this summer now play for the Blades and the Minnesota Made kids play for HB/Miracle Gold? If so that's a couple of interesting alliances.

Didn't mean to create confusion....

As I understand it, Legacy formed an 03 team in the Spring. Blades didn't form until mid-Summer. So the majority of the would-be 03 Blades played the Spring/early-Summer on the the 03 Legacy team.

Same with MM. There was no 03 Machine this summer (not formed yet). So the MM kids went to the Cougar Invite as a generic "Minnesota" team.

Why? Better coach at blades and MM than legacy and Team MN?

I think a few from Legacy are switching over to the Blades and most of the Miracle Gold are playing as Team MN for the tournament.

Quite a few NB kids...

So what's the word on Team Minnesota then? Will the '03's be competitive? Was the 03 Miracle Gold team any good?

Quite a few of the 03's played up on 02's and the team was very competitive.

A few of the 03's are VERY talented.

Not involved, but very impressed with this program and the training they bring in.

Define competitive. Do you mean at the open level or the elite level?

They should be very competitive at the 03' level. I don't know much about the 02' level..... I remember them going to an "elite" tournament in Green Bay this summer.

Sorry, i should have been more clear. You mentioned that some 03's were playing up at the 02 level and were very competitive as a team. I was just wondering what level they were playing at, open or elite. I don't recall any 03's playing on the Machine teams or the Blades. I am afraid Team Minnesota may struggle in the 02 Division. I don't know what the Midwest team will have but they could have a lot. The Toronto teams will be strong I am sure and the Blades are one of the top Minnesota 02 teams.
