Anti Orange is a 2000 Mn Edge parent. He's a little on "edge" this weekend because his team got thumped twice. 7-1 by the Blades and 6-4 by the Machine. ( according to the score sheet it was 6-2 with 3 minutes to play).

2 weeks ago when the 2000 Edge went 5 and 0 at the Easton Cup we did not hear a peep out of him, winning is good right?

Its ironic he is calling the Machine coaches "classless" and dissing those parents involved on that team but he is the man posting on a hockey forum, under an anonymous name, after a loss in an 11 year old summer hockey game. DUDE YOU HAVE NO CLASS!
Ant-orange - is this guy an ex Fire parent on top of being an Edge parent? Wondering . . .
I do not hide who I am like most. I am an Edge parent. Ask around. Anyone can find me if they want so go for it. Machine coaches and players were cheering when kids are hurt on the ice. Attitude reflects leadership. Goalie for Machine freaks out and drops his glove and blocker and gets 5 minutes for fighting but crybaby coaches whine to officials after the game and the tournament director who, suprise has a kid on the machine and the penalty gets changed so goalie can play. You can trash me all you want. I don't give a crap. Those coaches and the tournament director showed no class or integrity. They showed the kids they can do wrong but daddy will fix it. What a joke.

Looks like the 02 Blades have come around. Good to see. Should be a great championship game at this level. Blades have got to be the favorite after yesterday's beat down of the orange.

After a very poor showing yesterday by Machine Orange against the Blades, Machine Orange showed the most heart and won the most important game, the championship!

Just shows that a pool play "beat down" means nothing!

Nice win by the Orange! Glad to see they didn't let the pool play loss keep them from the ultimate goal this weekend. Good to see the Blades have some success this weekend too. Two very good programs rose to the top as expected.

Cdale...actually the 98 Machine (Orange) lost to the Legacy 6-1 but then bounced back to defeat Team Hazard and then the 98 CCM Flyers by a 5-2 score for 5th place.

The 98 Flyers were the only team to play the 98 Blades close at the Caribou Cup, losing 6-5 in pool play, with Blades scoring winning goal on a power-play with 2 minutes to go.

The Blades beat every other team (including the Flyers in a qtr. final re-match) by at least 5 goals in all of their other games in route to the tourney championship.

Flyers played Caribou tounament without 3 regular defensemen (including arguably their 2 best D, who played for the Rockets) but picked up two very good D to fill-in and also played a regular forward at D. CCM Flyers finish the summer 18-5-1, winning the Independent Cup and Battle by the Bay and choosing not the brawl with the TBT again in the finals at Intl Cup....also finished 3rd at Easton, despite going 4-0-1 in that tourney.

What happened is the Orange goalie came out of the crease throwing punches against the other team and then cheering about it. Then he gets thrown off the ice, but goes to our bench and cheers more. Jungels is making alot of enemies. Should someone send the video to BMac???

If he's that bad, why do you let your kid skate on the team? Legit question.

This is what is wrong with Youth hockey. I saw a bunch of games this weekend and in three of the games I saw kids gettig Chippy. Parents in the Stands Cheering bad (Cheap) Hits. Big kids that can't skate being sent after smaller kids that have skills to try to intimidate them to win what? a 9?10? 11year old meaningless tournament. I for one was sadly dissapointed in having two watch games that stooped to that level. The 00 game was a circus. The 99 Game wasn't much better. I think 3 kids got kicked out of that game. Parents and Coaches egos Really put a black eye on what is supposed to be a contest between top teams. I would hope that the parents of he kids involved rip their kids on the way home for acting like they did as much they do when Jr. plays a bad game.
In the grand scheme of things these kids take on the charachteristics of the coaches and parents. You know who you are and should be ashamed of yourselves. By the Way Your kid will never be a Pro so sit back and teach them life lessons and enjoy the sport the way it was meant to be played.

Think what you want. I could care less about the Blades or the Machine name. I think that they give the opportunity to have high end hockey in Minnesota. I have Won many games in my carreer and also had my butt handed to me. You learn from the losses and you don't gloat over wins. Those Machie/Blades games along with the Icemen coach's reaction during the 00 game is Rediculous and if you don't know what I am talking about you obviously haven't been around the rink. If this was sour grapes I would be sending my kid out to chop and chase kids around the rink like others are doing.

I agree with Dog. The Machine program at the older levels had a lot of integrity and discipline when they were being built. I think the last of the integrity and discipline lies with the 99's that Bernie coaches. The 00 are a circus, parents and coaches! Embarassing at best. I think in the earlier days the Machine was a program that developed skilled players with discipline and integrity and the bad parents who didn't show those qualities would have their kid benched because of their poor choices. AAA hockey is now a very competitive club...it's getting real ugly. HOWEVER, their are some AAA clubs and teams that show class, minority although....

Only one who should be ashamed of themselves is you, ripping on 10 and 12 year old kids on a public forum while you hide behind a name. Critisizing coaches and touting how great you are, keep hiding you anonymous coward.

OK--i don't mean to be ripping on the 10-11 year olds. You are right. I am not saying I am great at all if you read my statement. Didn't think I used the word "I" or "Me". Anyhow, it is the coaches and parents. The players learn from them. That is who needs to show the integrity and discipline and manners and toleration.

12. Take a step back. deep breath and look at your comments. Rip me all you want but the root of all what is bad about Hockey is in guys like you who promote a child retaliating in a manner that can get a kid hurt or end a career that may or may not include hockey. I am sure that your next comment will be " your kid must not be able to handle the rough stuff" Idiotic comments like that got checking banned in peewees. The game can be played with a class and a toughness like no other sport. One should be able to deliver a clean hit and be proud of it then move on and keep your head up because the next shift you might be the one looking up. Again it is not a Machine/ Blades thing. If you are lucky enough to have a kid with that kind of talent you have an obligation to be above the we win they win bull.

Dog, again ripping on kids and making accusations so you can feel better about your current predictament. You act like there was only one team on the ice, i guess you could say your comments seem a little biased. To tell this forum that you already know what will happen in a hockey players future, that speaks for itself.

I wonder what happened to the Synergy 02 team? Had a very promising start this summer and kind of fizzled out at the end. Not bashing just wondering. Thought they might be a legit contender in the future.
