Post by MNpuckfanatic77 »

I'd have to say edina, minnetonka, and benilde have some of the best. Eden Prairie 3rd jerseys look really good as well.

Hopkins had great jerseys that looked like almost exactly like Nordiques jerseys. They put crowns where all the fleur-de-lis were.

Assuming they still use them, my favorites, in no particular order: Hopkins, Warroad, Jefferson, and Burnsville.

I like teams that the jersey hasn't changed for quite a while.

With that, Edina's are quite similar to the one they were wearing when they merged in '82, so Edina's got a nice look.

I like Duluth East's blacks.....

I like Grand Rapids' & Cloquet's.....

Speaking of which... I've mentioned this on the board before too. Why is Roseau blue in the youth ranks but green in HS? anyone???

Notice that everybody's favorites are for teams with a winning tradition...I guess this means that all of the less successful schools have ugly uniforms. What are the odds?

Warroad is similar, red, white and blue at the youth level, and black and gold at the hs level. 8)

Roseau's youth boy teams have traditionally been blue / white (the bantams have a red stripe added in); this goes back for as long as I can remember, and I'm old.

I believe this is because the local VFW has sponsored the Bantams and the local American Legion has sponsored the Pee Wees . . . the jerseys match the colors of our flag.

Our girls youth teams wear green and white like the varsity.

many of your programs who rely heavily on VFW and American Legions for funding go with patriotic colors, however there is something to be said about earning the right to put on your school colors when you pull that sweater on for the first time at the high school level
