well i tend to watch the two rivers area mostly, from what i saw recently the players in this area to watch are Joe Engelhart who had 4 goals against spooner. also i was surprised with Josh Cisar. he had 5 goals and 2 assists in the game against eveleth gilbert. just finished football so i was not expecting a game like that out of him to start out the season. those are the 2 main ones that stuck out to me.

Not a very strong schedule Cisar plays against but for a junior and the numbers he put up last season he has a lot of potential. It'd be nice to see him go somewhere after high school coming from such a small hockey program.

Not a surprise to anyone who follows Roseau hockey, but Zach Yon and Alex Strand are off to great starts this year and are playing really well for sophomores.

Moose Lake (school district) has two in the pro ranks (NHL/AHL) right now and Cisar has way more potential.

Gersich has some uncles who were Minnesota legends. Dad was a good player too. He should be a good one.

I agree, he looked good today against AHA. He was slammed in a hit from one of the STARS, Not sure what the call was, but a 5 minutes penalty was assessed..

He could be the best 96 in the state and the best high school player. He will probably be the leading scorer in the state. But, he does train year around with his coach noel at velocity. hopefully, they don't get into trouble.

the 13 minutes a period of ice he gets gives the rest of the team a great advantage as the season wears on watch and you will see for yourself a true way to build a team.

I agree with Letsplayhockey22. Josh Cisar did put up some good numbers but their schedule has to be one of the weakest ones in the state. But he is a good player for coming from a town that doesnt support hockey very much.

Where did you come across this information?
Not to be a downer on this player but ive watched moose lake play and he is easily going to be a stand out because of the teams they play, look at their schedule, he can put the puck in the net but his vision on the ice needs some work. easy not to have vision against small hockey programs[/quote]

Yep, you have to be a sauce and play at Cloquet to be a real player.
