Moorhead at Roseau 12/13/2011
This is the first match-up of the season for these two section 8AA rivals. It should be a good game.

Yeah. Voting in the polls is definitely subjective this early in the season. Come January when teams have a larger body of work to judge them on, then the polls might actually match game results.
It seems Moorhead is better than expected. They're probably the best team Roseau's played so far. Although Grand Rapids would be a close second.

Roseau/Moorhead
Section 8AA could be WIDE OPEN come playoff time. Nostaglic Nerd - I too would like to see Moorhead and Roseau lose in the Playoffs, but I would like to see the Warriors advance to St. Paul for the 1st time ever!

Not so sure...it definitely looks like Moorhead is the team to beat so far. Just finished up a two-game sweep of Bemidji and Roseau.slow feet no hands guy wrote:Section 8AA could be WIDE OPEN come playoff time. Re: Roseau/Moorhead
I wouldn't just hand the section title to the Spuds this early in the season. Yes, the wins over Roseau and Bemidji help them with the section seeding, but things will get more muddled if Bemidji can split the season series with the Spuds when they play again on their home ice in February. I'm sure the Lumberjacks will be looking to redeem themselves after they came so close to winning in Moorhead. So I think it's a two-horse race at this point.dueling21 wrote:Not so sure...it definitely looks like Moorhead is the team to beat so far.
