#10 Jefferson > Highland Central (4-2, ENG)

Thanks to all of you who have become rankers on our site...especially at the PWA level. The more rankers the more accurate the poll. If you haven't signed up to rank and would like to visit:

Eyeballs (YHH) better than the computers/formulas (MHR). Eyeballs had Jeff at 10 and Highland outside and MHR had Highland at 8 and Jeff at 16. Most probably agree Jeff will slip from top 10 but certainly shows at this point Highland not the worthy replacement some have suggested.

Will have to wait and see until this upcoming weekend in Edina... These were league games.....D10. Amazing how some of you on this board can only take jabs at other teams.

Again another score that shows the PeeWee A State Title is more wide open this year than ever.

Current rankings on all these sites are nothing more than a popular vote/guess.

Merry Christmas to All - Even PucksaHater, I hope you get what you want form Santa even though you have been naughty this year

Sticking to the facts: our rankings are compiled with 3 criteria, a minimum of 40 RANKERS per skill level which mathematically gets us to a +|- of 8% accuracy. We measure strength of schedule (not goal difference), and wins versus any team within the top 10.

Popularity: we also view each ballot to insure no stacking (some guys try to sneak in a completely ineligible team or teams (e.g. Kennedy PWA) to their ballot to increase the value of whatever team they are trying bump.

Over the past 6 weeks we have carefully adjustedthe weight and values of our 3 criteria to best reflect the best team at that point in the season.

We have a Centennial RANKER and other D10 RANKERS who did not rank them in the Top 10 (until now of course).

Should be interesting to see who comes out of the Edina Brackets with LS, Stillwater and OMG in the same pool with Waconia.

Looks to be the toughest bracket. Stillwater beat Highland last week 5 to 0, now LS beating them 6 to 1. LS beat Stillwater early in the year, OMG beat LS early in the year. I seriously doubt any of these teams have a chance of getting the wild card from this pool, shouldn't be too many blow outs here. I would bet only the pool winner moves on. My guess is whoever wins this pool wins the tourney. As of now LS must be the favorite but they will have earned it if they move on.

Anyone see the Stillwater / OMG game? Was the score indicitive of how the game was played ...even? Was the game well played? From what I saw early in the year OMG has a few studs and Stillwater seems to be more of an even top to bottom team.
