Want to do something for Jack

Post by Crusty »

I'm a coach for a Jr Gold team in the southern suburbs, looking to do something for the Jablonsky's and I want to get the team invovled. Not sure what we can do, but if anyone has any idea's please let me know.

Thanks

Goal Pledge drive...

Either do it one game or for the season get the kids to get pledges for a dollar amount per goal they score or the team scores.

Skate-a-thon pledges for miles or laps skated in one practice bring in food music pot luck.

Depending on the association you could donate all tips from pull tabs to the family...

Just a few ideas Kudos for trying to assemble something.

But for the grace of God go the rest of us. Jack and his family will incur significant expenses adjusting to Jack's new life. Their home will need to be remodeled, new vehicles will need to be purchased, and the family will have numerous other expenses, most of which will not be covered by insurance. No amount of financial planning can prepare a family for such unanticipated costs. Yes, we will continue to pray for Jack's recovery and adjust to his new life, but this family needs the financial support of the hockey community.

This was posted on Jack's CaringBridge site:

At the urging of many of you, and with Mike and Leslie's support, today we established an account at Wells Fargo Bank, the JACK JABLONSKI FUND. If you wish to donate something towards Jack's future needs, you can send your donations to:

Jack Jablonski Fund
P.O. Box 16387
St. Louis Park, MN 55416-2618

You may also make your donations at any Wells Fargo Bank. Designate your donations "Jack Jablonski Fund."

The Minnesota High School Hockey Hub set up an online donation site for Jack and his family. You can make a donation using your credit card. Although CaringBridge is an important message tool and does great work, it is important to note that when you make a "tribute" donation on Jack's CaringBridge site the donation goes to support CaringBridge, not Jack and his family.

Here's the link to the Minnesota High School Hockey Hub donation site for Jack:

The home rink for BSM, St Louis Park, has a variety of fund raisers posted. I usually hear about them too late but I can add them to my hockey web site if anybody hears of any,
