Judd Peterson Duluth Marshall

Post by boblee#2 »

Is this kid that good, 15 goals in 5 games and 3 of those games against good teams such as Hibbing , St.tomas and breck, Is this kid been offered anything yet i cant find if he is commited . It would be nice to see the bulldogs pull the trigger even though they have some new young power for the next 3 to 4 years, mabye a better situation would be MSU BSU or SCSU. Good luck to the kid! keep it up

He has a good shot, but he is a not a two way player. Loves hanging out behind the defense to get the breakaway. Usually is the last guy back in the defensive zone.

who cares when you score 15 goals in 5 games...i would tell him to keep doing what he is doing. do you think ben hanowski scored all those goals doing loopty-loops around his defensive zone goal crease to set the state scoring record?

He's a goal hound, that's for sure. Last I heard, UMD was stepping up their recruitment of him.

I heard the Bulldogs really like him. He is getting some interest from the ND, also. Good size, great shot, uses his body well. I will be very surprised if he does not play D1 some where. Good luck to him.

Could he go in the 1st round? Scoring goals against those great teams show how talented he is! Possible MR. Hockey? Why isn't he playing at East?

I just found this a little funny. Don't know why. Kinda like Bordson (sp?) leaving denfeld for Marshall.

Speaking of. Where is he?

Yes, Judd is a tremendous player and is committed to St Cloud State.
He was getting alot of looks from others. He definately is a D1 player.

All the haters can move on now and get back to their lives

That might account for a player not standing out, yes.

Peterson is a good player, say what you want, but he just landed at a D1 school.

Maybe in time, but as of right now I think it's a little premature to be making those types of comparisons. That being said, this kid looks like one heck of a hockey player. Best of luck at SCSU (although we could use some of that scoring ability out here at UND)

I like Peterson a lot, his short handed goal against Cloquet was impressive. He puts himself in positions to score and takes the most of those opportunities. Next underrated player to come out of Marshall. I'm glad to see these other WCHA teams pulling in good talent.

great player.. Saw him for the first time this year against TRF.. Him and #20 for Marshal stood out to me, but Peterson was pretty fast, had a rocket of a shot and is a good size.. Pretty sure he could make 1st or 2nd line on any team in the state
