Such power. If I wanted to do that, I'd have to unlock and re-lock. Life is rough.

Are you sure? The "reply" button at the bottom was replaced by "locked", but it still let me reply to a specific post.

Huh, I guess I can. Almost two years of this and I'm still learning new things. :)

Anyways, it's time to put this thread to a constructive use. I think we should coin a phrase on this forum that somehow ties Howie Hanson's name to any idea that is ridiculous, nonsensical, or just plain dumb. Any suggestions?

That is constructive, karl. =D>

I think using his name would be appropriate; that is unless someone comes up with a better word/nickname.

We still need a Howie Hanson term.

BTW, I read his Facebook postings and articles. What a loon.

What do people see in him and his work?

Something akin to "you got Munson'ed" from Kingpin.

"He's a loser....a real Howie" or "...a real Hanson"

No Wikipedia today, everyone.

If you didn't know, Wikipedia is going dark today to protest web piracy bills circulating in the U.S. Congress. These bill are the SOPA "Stop Online Piracy Act," and PIPA "Protect IP Act."

In short, these bills are efforts to stop copyright infringement committed by foreign web sites, but, in our opinion, they do so in a way that actually infringes free expression while harming the Internet. -Wiki Website

Oh no! How will you research and reference your papers, karl?

Oh no! I guess I'll have to open one of those so-called "books."

The bigger question is, how will I distract myself and procrastinate from my work other than wikipedia? Couldn't they have done this on a day when there are a bunch of streaming hockey games?

Interesting...

What's also interesting is that Wikipedia only blacked out their English section... That's discrimination! :P

Too many great scenes and quotes in that movie to easily list.

You have two options.

1. Take your snowmobile out to the Rockies, Seattle and Alaska. They have had a lot of snow the past several days.

2. Pray harder.
