1-28-2012 HM @ BSM for possibly #1 seed at state

Thought maybe this one could use its own thread. Granted Roseville and Minnetonka will both have a lot to say whether either of these teams make it to the tourney, this could be a preview of a state final. Both BSM and HM have big conference games this week as well, so it will be interesting to see if either gets caught looking ahead. Thoughts?

Its hard to bet against HB but given that Hill is going to play a very physical game against SSP the night before, I would say BSM takes this one

3-1 Final. Hannah Brandt with the hat trick for HM. HM started the game very strongly, outshot BSM 11-3 in the 1st period and were up 2-0. After the second goal, BSM calmed down, started playing their game and skated just fine with HM the rest of the way. And it was 1-1 game the rest of the way, so it showed. Both teams played excellent defensively, but two costly neutral zone turnovers and some shifty moves by HB led to two breakaway goals and the difference in the game. As HockeyManNorth said, probably the top 2 teams in state yet both are only an even bet to get to the state tournament. Tonka has handled BSM the last few years and HM will have to contend with an extremely good Roseville team. Was a great game to watch between two really good teams.

Ok, Trying to figure out who won, and what was the score?
Hockeymannorth posted BSM 4-2
Sparlimb posted 3-1 final with HB getting a hat trick, he then said HM were up 2-0 in the first period, then said it was a 1-1 game the rest of the way?
Not sure all of these scores could come out of one game?
If someone knows the true final score, please post it. Thanks, maybe just a fat finger stroke of the keys.

3-1 was the final. Hockeyman was guessing his final score. I was there, trust me...
