A new number one at PWB.
Some teams are rising (PWA Prior Lake went up), some are falling (Andover at U12A, LVS at PWA and Jefferson Bantam B) and a few teams have reappeared (Princeton at SQB and Hermantown Gold at PWB). Prior Lake has had a couple great weeks in Bantam A....check out all the rankings changes at the link below.

Seeing that LVS beat PL 2-1 last night, I'd say our rankings are dead on (i.e. both good teams and both worthy of a little a higher ranking on any given week and maybe a little lower ranking on any given week).
Our ranking system does not say, "this will be the state champion", it says "who's the best right NOW."
I will contend based on my knowledge that 5 teams have a legit shot of winning:
OMG, ER, LVS, PL, and Centennial (Centennial for the simple reason that they have shown the ability to hang W's on this caliber of teams all year). Our formula hates some of their losses, but my gut says they could surprise come the State Tourney.
Sorry to Edina and EP. These two teams have all of the ability, but they just lack the consistency as of February 1.

Another darkhorse is STMA, quietly they have domindated Districts and have the goaltending to shut out any upper team at anytime.YouthHockeyHub wrote:Seeing that LVS beat PL 2-1 last night, I'd say our rankings are dead on (i.e. both good teams and both worthy of a little a higher ranking on any given week and maybe a little lower ranking on any given week).

Hey Darling, they may be few and far between but they are there.Pucksahater wrote:A positive comment from Puck, please encase in bronze!
Got to love small town teams making a move in the end.
Glad to see you are still stalking me, we really need to get together so we can finalize the restraining order.

This must be a trick....."Domindated" must have a very evil meaning..?ThePuckStopsHere wrote:Another darkhorse is STMA, quietly they have domindated Districts and have the goaltending to shut out any upper team at anytime.YouthHockeyHub wrote:Seeing that LVS beat PL 2-1 last night, I'd say our rankings are dead on (i.e. both good teams and both worthy of a little a higher ranking on any given week and maybe a little lower ranking on any given week).
