I would have thought Irondale would be seeded higher than 6th. KRACH has them at No. 4. Of the eight sections in AA this one might be the most up for grabs.

KRACH said the same for the first and last three spots. The middle three order is different. Head-to-head/Common Opponents considerations (#1 & #2 in seeding criteria) probably made a difference here :

Any one in the top 6 in this section has a legitimate shot at state. Anoka is 3-2-1 against conference foes Andover, Blaine, and Centennial. And their wins have been razor thin. Irondale had a weaker schedule, but has one of the state's top scorers. Whoever shows up to play takes it.
