Look at any team that has a poor record. That's where a lot of the under rated or unnoticed players are.shotpassskate wrote:I would add Frankie Mork from AHA also.Zoogy92 wrote:From what I've seen, Mario Bianchi from Holy Angels is really a standout player that doesn't seem to get much credit for it. In my opinion he is a very high caliber player.
Maybe my head is in the sand, but I feel like Jake Guentzel from Hill Murray gets little press and watching him play the last 2 yrs in HS and last fall in the elite league, he is a great talent. Maybe Hill having a down year has something to do with it, but he has to be one of the best juniors in the state. Kid can flat out play. Super smart on the ice too. Great instincts. (Dad and older brothers probably didn't hurt that

Regarding the NWSC Sophomore players that belong to a struggling team and not all teams list the grade level of all players so I am just basing my information off of Hockey Hub and have seen the 4 players listed play for quite a few years. Coon Rapids has a Sophomore Seth Johnson which has recorded 18 points and there team is winless in the Conference. Comparing him to Blaine, Andover and Elk River that have a much better record Kline (Blaine) 20 points, Tomberlin (Andover) 19 points and Zerban (Elk River) 19 points. One would think Johnson would fair much better with more talented players surrounding him. Otherwise, there are not too many teams (including ours) with Sophomores within our Conference accumulating as many points as these 4.auld_skool wrote:Look at any team that has a poor record. When I think of under rated player here's some good play makers to watch and compare, Justin Kloos, Mick Dhein, Aaron Rich. Sorry, but I didn't agree with you, nothing personal. You have anyone else or just the one son playing?

Michael Greenberg from Armstrong! This kid stood on his head in the upset over EP with 49 saves, and kept BSM to only 4, Including stopping Besse on 3 breakaways and multiple great scoring chances. First team to keep him off the board in 12 games. Greenberg didn't have the best team in front of him and thats why his season stats aren't as good as they should have been. This tender is solid though.

I haven't seen him play too much since I live in the twin cities, but is he faster than Nic Simpson from Blaine because he can move his feet faster than any player I have ever seen at this level.allstatebenders wrote:#37 Junior Forward Hogan Davidson for East.
Fastest skater I've ever seen at the high school level, he is probably the peskiest player in the state, hes always after the puck.
Seriously, the kid is unreal
