Congratulations to Will and all of the Eagan seniors who are going to play D1 hockey (if not next year, then after a year or two of juniors). It's a tight group of guys who have stuck together over the years. Wonderful to see that at least two of them will be able to share ice when they move on to the next level.

I've had the pleasure of watching this group from squirts till their senior year and its just fantastic to see so many of them moving on. There is at least one more that I'd bet will get offered. Nick Kuchera just might be the most effective player on the Eagan team. Congrats WILL! you should take great pride in all you've accomplished.

Congrats to Will! He'll bring a tough, gritty style with good hands, rink vision, and the ability to set up goals as well as finish. Very cool that a couple players from this Eagan team will play together in college.

Awesome. Very happy for him. Was wandering when this was gonna happen! IMO of all kids playing HS hockey in MN right now he has the highest probability to go the furthest in his hockey career with the complete game/size/physical play coupled with his ability to score and make plays all over the ice. All the d-1's in MN missed big on this kid. Glad he committed to a top notch program like Maine. They did well with MN kids in Merchant, Wolffe and Shurharmer. He will be a great college player and barring injury and him continuing to develop has a great shot at the level beyond that. Congrats.

How about them Eagan boys!!! Way to go Will, congratulations!! Would have loved to see you stay in Minnesota so I could continue to watch you play. But it's their loss and Maine's gain, I hope you and the wolfeman lead the Black Bears to an NCAA Championship!!

I agree 100% about the Kuchera kid. He rarely gets any press yet when you watch this team he is always making plays. He is on the 2nd line and isn't paired with the 2 Mr. Hockey finalists yet he has more points than both of them. I'm surprised HHF doesnt say more about him. If you look at his numbers, he has progressed better than anyone since his sophomore year. I hope someone gives him a chance because he deserves it.
Congrats to May, Merchant, Zajac and Wolfe. They are all well deserving and good luck in D1!
