Its like a Starbuck coffee, Pleasure! not driven by cost. the cost of $195 is for Fun, Freinds, Entertainment. These type of tournaments are not value driven. If your player is given the opportunity to play in a tournament such as this just have fun. My son played in this last year. he met great kids / families added another jersey to the closet and broke a $200 Hockey stick :( But we had a Blast!

My son played those tournaments for years and always enjoyed himself and liked playing with the different kids. He and his friends still look at the pictures of themselves as Squirts and talk about who scored the OT goal to win. Are these tournaments a lot of money for the ice time? Yes. Are they fun? Definitely Yes! If you can swing it financially do it, your son or daughter will thank you later.
