District 8 Final Ranking will be (Eagan vs. SSP game would not matter):

1. Lakeville South
2. Lakeville North
3. Farmington
4. Woodbury
5. Hastings
6. Eastview
7. Sibley Area
8. Apple Valley
9. Rosemount
10. Eagan
11. Cottage Grove
12. SSP/IGH

Seed 1-4 will have a bye to the double-elimination round. 5-12 will need to play a cross-over single game to gain double-elimination round.

LVS 3 WBL 1 wasn't there but heard it was a very well played and physical game. Good luck to both teams as they enter districts.

OG85 - The game was pretty intense from both sides. They played three - 17 minute stop time periods. As you may know, Centennial has played a ton of games this season. I believe they have played more games than any team in the state thus far at 52+. Stillwater seemed to carry play at the start but as most Peewee A games it went back and forth. Stillwater is playing with a couple guys out which could mean many things. Centennial has been on a tear latley. They have not lost in their last 13 contests. Both teams seemed to be in district playoff condition. The two teams are almost clones of each other in my opinion. It should be interesting to see what teams across the state are peaking and which ones are burning out. Congrats on the Rangers final regular season win. Who wears the slipper this year?

Those two could meet in state . FL played both, @ the time I thought Cent looked unbeatable[oct]. Then I think they went into a small slump, been on a tear since the 1st of the year! Stillwater is very well coached[ Scott B]. I hope our kids can build off of that MV game thanks, Good Luck.....

Not that it's important but the score was actually 7-4 with an empty netter. I'm still working on my counting. D2 has their work cut out in dealing with D3 & D8 which have very good teams.

Stillwater is playing well but they need to concentrate on getting out of districts. They are missing 2 kids that have been on the top line at different points during the season and they have played to their opponents level this year. Not to mention they struggled with both Tartan and MV who are in their side of the bracket in D2. D2 only gets 2 to regions this year so there is less margin for error. Last year Mahtomedi made it out as an 8 seed! it does happen. Watch out for Roseville they are playing much better.

If Stillwater does get out they could be a spoiler as they have 2 ties in 45 minute games with OMG and had a very fast paced 1 goal game with LVS for about 40 minutes in the Edina.

I think the East region looks brutal, Wayzata Blue is playing well and could shake it up there as well. Highland, LVN, Woodbury or Farmington can beat you on any given night as well.

Everyone is looking at PL, ER, LVS and OMG as the big dogs at state and they deserve to be the top 4 but I think any of the next 4 (Stillwater, Edina, EP and Centennial) would not be a real surprise to be there.

Looks like 2nd year in a row Albert Lea bows out in the Play-In game. Fred will probably still blame Rochester's Red for the loss.

Here comes again ... 12 month later! But sounds like Freddie signed up something newer and better now. It really comes down D9 teams are ok with the arrangement, who are we to question.
