Re: Moorehead vs Dulluth East
Dont worry about East in this one, we'll hit back. Most the time the true talent on this team doesn't show until mid-season, so don't think that we are gonna get run-over in this one.
East-2
Moorhead-1

Re: Moorehead vs Dulluth East
East has played only tough teams this year, with the exception of duluth central...but they have played White Bear Lake, Cloquet, and Wayzata, and have hung with all but cloquet...The were in the whole game with WBL until the 3rd, i am gonna say...

Duluth East 4 Moorhead 1

in this one. Moorhead is yet to impress me this year, who have they played other than Grand Rapids? And that was a good game, kind of disappointed Rapids couldnt pull it out, bud the spuds did play well...

Re: Moorehead vs Dulluth East
Im ganna have to disagree with you on this one BULLDOGG 888, the spuds clearly dominated tonight in the game against GR televised on FSN, this win will carry over in tomorows game against east, if GR cant skate with them either will east...

Moorhead 5
East 0

Re: Moorehead vs Dulluth East
for whatever reason East has had Moorheads number over the years... Moorhead embarrassed them in the semis last year but there is always the 1995 title debacle... its going to be a short turnaround for Moorhead with an afternoon game..

Bulldog? Bulls***
Moorhead hasn't played any tough teams?

Roseau is one of the best teams in the state this year, giving the spuddies a run for their money in moorhead,

Moorhead has definitely shown thus far their ability to beat good teams in close games, something East has yet to do.

I've got the spuds winning 4-2 again.

Peace

What it is... Its Knight Time Baby!!!

Re: Bulldog? Bulls***
Rapids can skate with Moorhead, what game were you watching? Sure Moorheads' forecheck got on em a lot, however, Rieder Jensen played as well as he could, and penalties were what really slowed Rapids down. Did Moorhead put those 3rd period goals in on their own net or something? Moorhead won, and won fair and square, but if these teams meet again GR can take them. As for East, they seem to be struggling, but they'll be fresh tomorrow. That's what will be interesting to see how conditioned the Spuds are to play 2 games in less than 24 hours.

Re: Bulldog? Bulls***
Rapids had a good third period, but for 2 periods the Spuds forcheck was too much for Rapids. Rapids defensively turned the puck over quite a bit. Moorhead had penalty problems thorughout the game which gave Rapids the third period goal. I thought the Spuds looked much better for most the game although the Thunderhawks found a way to make a game of it. that shows character.
I rarely cheer for East, but I like the idea that 7AA is hanging with the best in the state. Go East and 7AA.

Is FSN televising this game instead of the Roseau game?

Re: Moorehead vs Dulluth East
I have never (nor will I ever) cheered for East and I don't really care for the taters either so I am hoping for a tie or the ice at the DECC to melt and they have to call this one off

Maybe FSN will show some curling or poker tonight instead if that happens

ne thing but bball

Not that it matters as I will be at the DECC tonight (if the ice is back in) watching the Dogs get their revenge

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... wkfan70 at: 12/17/05 8:48 am

quick turnaround
I like Moringville scheduling these games so close. If you want to play in March, you have to be able to turn around quick and play two good teams within 24 hours.

Moorhead 5
East 2

If GR runs into Moorhead again, GR loses by 4.

Re: Here comes the TRAIN !.....by SS
I think this will be another one goal game. Moorhead will come out on top. They haven't shown me that they can blow out a descent team yet with the close games against roseau and GR. That will be something they will learn as they continue to improve throughout the year. Putting away a team in the second period rather than leaving the game up to chance in the third is something that comes with experience and confidence in the high school level.
Play another sport if ya dont got what it takes to DangleMcFangle.
