The nice thing is there is no place for AHA to hide tomorrow night. Heard something about Treb getting new jerseys - good idea for their last game of the season...transferprobs wrote:AHA lost to prior lake last year even with a good team they'll give them a run for their money this year

Gotta admit not looking good for this but that sounds good to me!shotpassskate wrote:My first round winners are Edina, Jefferson, Burnsville and AHA.
Second round Jefferson over Edina, AHA over Burnsville.
2AA Finals, The game we all wanted to see in the first round is now the finals.
AHA over Jefferson in a very well played fast paced game that goes to 3ot's with a Bloomington kid sending the Stars back to state.
I know I may have hit my head today at work but, I just have a feeling this is going to happen. You all are going to rip me for my picks but it is MO.

Except for the OT loss in the final I like the way you think. I gotta go, I just saw a flying monkey outside my window.shotpassskate wrote:My first round winners are Edina, Jefferson, Burnsville and AHA.

At the end of the game a Chan player pushed a linesman. When the referee game in to escort the player off the ice he pushed the ref and head butted him in the face. The assistant coaches yelled at the ref and did nothing. Classy bunch.SilverStick wrote:Was Chan as chippy as the penalties show? 5 minute major for crosschecking, double minor for roughing and a unsportsmanlike bench penalty.
Chanhassen, from what I have seen and heard, is the least classy team I have witnessed in many years of hockey (coaching, parenting, playing, and just being a fan....)WarmUpTheBus wrote:At the end of the game a Chan player pushed a linesman. This was my first time seeing Chan this year. I thought the coaches let the team get out of hand, ending with a really unfortunate scene as already described. You could see things getting worse as the game wound down.
The crosscheck was to the throat which is why they game him a major. Luckily the other kid wasn't severely injured.

My assumption is that being a senior, if he doesn't play a spring sport something will be done by his principal or AD. If he does play a spring sport maybe the MSHSL would get involved. Purely a guess.starmvp wrote:Does anyone know what kind of Law trouble the chan kid is going to get into for the head butt?
I know the young man and I'm just really saddened by the whole thing.
So I'm guessing a suspension from school or something along those lines?auld_skool wrote:My assumption is that being a senior, if he doesn't play a spring sport something will be done by his principal or AD. Not only did the coaches let it get out of hand, from what I saw the coaches, particularly the assistant coaches almost acted as instigators by their behavior towards the referees.auld_skool wrote:This was my first time seeing Chan this year.
