15-1 MG over Blaine last night and, funny, I didn't see any posts about how classless the MG coach is and how he should be fired for winning a game in dominate fashion. I also didn't see any mention of Aus crying that MG ran up the score. Why isn't Sats on that page crying foul? I guess it is different since it is not Lakeville and Weber is not on the bench.

I really had thought everybody had moved on from this . . . but the issue people had with Weber was that his top players had a hand in the 19th goal, which came with 15 seconds left. Maple Grove only scoreod twice in the third, and it didn't look like it was their big names doing it.

Lessons were apparently learned, as Lakeville South's first line didn't see the ice in the last ten minutes in the section final. Please, let's all focus on happier thoughts. I believe there is a big tournament coming up this week we might discuss.

Curtiscurve, because Blaine has won that section the last 6 yrs! Blaine has some history. Blaine has div 1 hockey players on their roster. Blaine had a Mr. Hockey winner 2 yrs ago. They have a program that has some respectability. MG has never been to a tourney and finally got over the hump. LS beat WINONA. WINONA. WINONA! A team that would get crushed by the the top 10 Bantam A teams in the state! Justin Kloos was out and assisted on their 19th goal. Not only is this a joke but Weber is lucky the only horse he has that gives them a chance to win wasn't injured. If you want to argue with me, private message me. I'm done posting on this thread. I could go on for 10 pages on why it was a joke.

Blaine quit! Blaine gave up! Blaine has talent! Division 1 players, 6 time defending section champs. Oh and MG only scored two goals in the third period. Not like Lakeville. Not like their top players being on the ice at the end like Lakeville.

These two scenarios are not even close to comparable. Blaine would have beatend Winona bad.

If you were listening to KFAN this morning you would have heard that MG didnt play their top players in the third. I am okay with your third and fourth liners racking up all the points possible. Just dont put out your best player with 15 seconds left in the game.
